This Privacy Policy explains how Cultivar Labs LLC ("Cultivar", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information across the Cultivar website at gocultivar.com and our products.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — your email and authentication details, managed through our authentication provider.
- Content you submit — the information and content you provide to use a product.
- Generated content — any materials a product produces for you.
- Usage data — log data such as actions taken, timestamps, and device or browser information.
- Payment data — handled by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, LLC. We do not store full payment card numbers.
2. How we use your information
- To provide and operate our products.
- To secure and improve the service.
- To communicate about your account, support requests, and service changes.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
3. AI processing
Where a product uses AI to process your content, that content may be sent to a third-party large language model provider under a data processing agreement. We use a zero-retention configuration where available, and your content is not used to train the provider's models.
4. Service providers (sub-processors)
We share data only with providers that help us run the service:
- Clerk — manages sign-in and account identity.
- Lemon Squeezy, LLC — payment processing and tax as Merchant of Record.
- Google Cloud and Firebase — runs our applications and stores your data securely.
- OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google (Gemini) — generate content under the terms in Section 3.
5. What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content for advertising.
6. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact hello@gocultivar.com.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate our products. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
9. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and tenant isolation. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
10. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
11. Children
Our products are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
